This wood exhibits the rays best when quarter sawn.  With straight grains and a course texture it is sure to add something special to your next project

Workability:

Although this wood glues and finishes well. you can expect it to blunt your cutting edges due to its high density. Tear out is common during planning.

Can commonly be found in fine Furniture, musical instruments, cabinetry and Turned objects
