Description

This light yellow brown wood is sure to make your next project. The heartwood is not always distinguishable from the sapwood. Sometimes called white wenge because of the similarity in grain pattern, most noticeable in flat sawn surfaces. Although these to woods look very similar they are not related and come from different genera. 

Not great for rot resistance this should be used for your indoor projects 

Workability

Generally easy to work with using either machinery or hand tools. It can still cause moderate blunting to cutting edges. Glues and finishes well!
