Description:

This beautiful wood has a white sap wood and a reddish brown heartwood. Its neutral tones are what make it so fantastic as it pairs well with a wide variety of other colors, and woods.  The grain is generally straight of slightly wavy .

Workability:

Being a softer hardwood, this wood is easier to work with, having less of a blunting effect on tools. Boards that have wild grains can cause tear outs, but it is uncommon. Turns well, easy to glue up, And is easy to apply finishes to.
